Every now and again I come across some new audio or video format I can’t use. Which is really annoying (to say the least!).
And that happened again today with an audio file I wanted to hear, but it had a .ogg extension.
You really don’t need to know what ogg stands for (seriously, you don’t!), but should you be curious, all is revealed on Wikipedia here.
All I wanted was an MP3 version and within a matter of less than a minute, my 47 minute ogg file became an MP3. Nice.
Here’s where I went: http://www.online-convert.com/
They can convert just about any format (audio and video) to just about anything else.
But they also do document and image conversion, and just to add the icing, they’ve got Ebook formats covered too (9 different formats!).
