Colour Emotion Infographic and Positioning

I just had to include a reference to this Colour Emotion Infographic and how it helps your brand distinguish itself with positioning.

The infographic demonstrates how different brands have used different colour combinations to express themselves.

Look at the emotional states each major colour invokes in people and think about how you want to position yourself and your products in the market place.
Are you optimistic, friendly and exiting? then pick combination of yellow, orange and red. And throw in some blue for your links and visitor trust.

Split testing colours

Matthew Woodward goes into great detail on his blog on some color testing he has done. The results are worth reading about.

My book, Step by Step Marketing, explains a lot more about positioning. Take a look here.
